FOR ANYONE WHO'S LEFT THE GYM AFTER TWO EXERCISES

Book a whole gym. Everyone else gets evicted for the hour.

Two private gyms in Bradwell Abbey, fitted with Blk Box kit, that you book by the hour. Your phone opens the door, and for that hour nobody else can.

6 Questions

Your 6:30 session, as it actually goes.

Your plan had five exercises, and here's what happened to it.

06:31 You sit in the car park counting cars before getting out.

06:40 A gym bro is curling in the squat rack while his phone films.

06:42 You hover by the dumbbells, reading a text that doesn't exist.

06:50 You ask "how many sets left?" and it's always four.

07:05 A man sits on the leg press, watching you hip thrust.

07:12 You manage two exercises out of five, then head for the car.

Nothing went wrong with the training. Everything went wrong with the room. And you've already tried fixing it yourself.

6 questions.

You’ve taken all the advice possible.

"Just go at 4am, it's dead."
You set the alarm and got the quiet floor you wanted. Then you paid for it in sleep, and burned out.

"Put your headphones in."
You kept your head down and your music loud. You blocked the noise, but you couldn't block the eyes.

"Get a home gym."
You bought dumbbells and outgrew the 20s in five weeks. You measured for a rack and found it meant losing the lounge.

"Use the women's room."
You found it and felt more at ease straight away. Then you got strong past its 10kg dumbbells.

"Take someone with you."
You booked a PT so you weren't alone, and paid PT prices. You joined classes for company, and your lifts stopped climbing.

Milton Keynes Gyms
Private Gyms

This time, you finish all five.

Behind that door, the kit for every set is waiting. You never swap an exercise because someone got there first. You'll train on Blk Box, the brand behind Arsenal's and Google's gyms. Each suite has its own air con, and you set it. Play your music out loud, and leave the headphones in your bag. Before you join, the owner walks you round and runs you through the kit.

Strength & Conditioning

Private training

If you've outgrown the 20s at home, these dumbbells go to 40kg. If you're brand new, they start at 2kg. There's a half rack, a barbell and a bench for your big lifts. Hip thrust on the rack attachment, with the door locked behind you. The cable rack is free whenever your plan gets to it. Finish on kettlebells, wall balls or bands, and take your time. Try a new movement three times, then check it in the mirror

Functional Fitness

Private suite MK

You get three rack bays, load one, leave another set up, and keep the third spare. The bars are olympic bars, and the plates go up to 25kg. Check your form in the mirrors behind the racks. Row on a Concept 2, then push the sled down the turf lane. Add the bikes and ergs, and you never wait for a machine. If you are training for Hyrox or deca. This suite was built for it.

So who else has a key?

Nobody. You book your hour, and your phone becomes the key. The suite door opens for that phone and nothing else.

The front door isn't your door.

The front door lets in any member with a booking. Your suite door only opens for the phone you booked on. Another member with their own booking can't open it. You don't need staff or courage to keep it yours.

The door locks behind you.

You walk in, and the door locks behind you. You don't wedge it, check it or keep one eye on it. The next member can't get in until your hour is over. You just put your music on the speaker and start your warm up.

You leave when you're finished.

The release button inside opens the door from your side. At the gym, the room decided when you left. Here, you leave when your last set is done.

Boutique Gym - Your Hour

Now put the hour in your actual week.

Here are three different hours, from the first ugly one to the late finish.

Saturday, 10:00am · The first hour

The first session is always the ugly one.

You book a £20 day pass for the strength and conditioning suite. At ten, you walk in and the door locks behind you. You pick up the 18kg dumbbells and get three reps, not eight. You put them down, breathe, and go again at your own pace. Nobody's waiting for the bench, so you take the rest you need. You walk out with all five exercises done, not two.

Tuesday, 6:30pm · Straight from work

Half six on a Tuesday, and the rack is empty.

You park next to the front door, still in your work clothes. Your phone opens the suite and the door locks behind you. You do every set in the order you wrote it. You swap nothing, so last week's numbers are this week's starting point. Afterwards you use one of the two private showers, and that time sits outside your booked hour. The shower door locks, and you get changed on the bench inside it. You drive home with the whole plan done and your hair wet.

Thursday, 9:40pm · The late finish

Train when your day finally lets you.

You booked it at eight, because a slot was still free. Training late on your own can make you think twice, so here's exactly how the hour runs. You put MK13 9HB into your maps and park by the door. The logo sits next to the door at number 62. Your booking opens the front door, and your phone opens your suite. The door locks behind you, and only your phone opens it from outside. You set the air con and the music exactly how you like. You train, shower and head home whenever you're ready.

This is an app the big-box gyms will not give you

Milton Keynes Gym

You book the suite in four taps. At your time, the door opens for you and stays shut to everyone else.

No one walks in mid set. No one asks to work in. No one has been told they can use the room at the same time as you

Here's how the hour becomes yours.

Six steps, and nobody rings you at any point.

  1. You answer six questions

You answer six questions about how you actually train. You won't have to explain yourself to anyone.

  2. You get your result

Your result names the tier that suits the way you train. It also shows what an hour costs you on that tier.

  3. You come and see the door work

From your result page, you message the owner to book a free walk round. It takes about fifteen minutes. You try the kit and watch the door lock behind you. You can bring someone, as long as you tell the owner who. You leave without signing anything.

  4. You choose how you pay

Think about what you've already spent avoiding people. You've paid for PT sessions, for dumbbells you outgrew, and with sleep at 4am.

Here, you only pay for the hours you train. You can buy single hours, with no membership at all. To try it first, there's a six hour Taster pack. If you train most weeks, a membership brings the cost of each hour down. The more you train, the less each hour costs.

You pay by card each month and nothing ties you in. Unused hours carry over for three months.

  5. You book your hour

You download the free app from either app store. You pick your time, including an hour later the same day. You can join and train on the day you decide. You can also book your Tuesday hour through to next January. If somebody else has taken your hour, you pick another one. Nobody rings you when you book.

  6. You let yourself in

You park next to the front door, at number 62. Your access starts five minutes before your hour. Your booking opens the front door and your phone opens your suite. The door then locks behind you.

That's the whole process. Before you start it, one honest check.

See what your hour costs

Six questions, and your price at the end.

Let us talk you out of it first.

This IS for you if…

  • You enjoy waiting while somebody curls in the half rack.
You like planning your whole session around who is already in.
You are happy to keep setting the 4am alarm forever.
You do not mind your hour taking two hours.
You like being told that nobody is watching you.
You run, and you want a treadmill, which we do not have.
You want a class, a timetable and somebody counting your reps.
You want the lowest monthly fee, and you're happy to queue for it.

This ISN’T for you if…

  • You want the rack at half six, and you want it empty.
You want to finish all five exercises, because progress depends on all five.
You want to stop managing the room, and start managing the bar.
You want to still be deadlifting at sixty, not just walking.
You want a real gym at a normal hour, completely yours.
And if you coach, you want to train clients like a professional, not like staff.

Questions Before You Book

Six questions, then come and watch the door lock behind you
